The Family Crypt

Delia felt the chill creeping up her legs as she crunched through the snow-covered cemetery next to her fiancé. She was cold as the grave, and shivered inside the coat that he had placed lovingly around her shoulders

“Where are we going?” She asked, feeling her bones rattling as she shivered

“To your family crypt. We’re almost there”

“In the middle of a blizzard”

“Yes”

She shivered along beside him. She had gotten so thin, she felt like the wind was whistling through her. Finally they arrived, and she watched as he unlocked the heavy iron door.

“I still don’t understand. Why are we here?”

He smiled sadly as he led her inside.

“Because you got out again”
